Chengdu Art Mansion Club by ZEST ART reimagines the spatial logic of luxury hotels as a framework for community-oriented architecture. Completed in 2025, the 1,900-square-meter project blends avant-garde design with the regional artistry of Ba-Shu culture, transforming a traditional clubhouse into a multisensory environment for social, cultural, and artistic engagement. Conceived as both a community hub and an experiential showroom, it merges the refinement of high-end hospitality with the intimacy of residential life. The project’s layout integrates courtyards, art corridors, and elevated zones for exhibitions, tea tasting, and gatherings, all arranged to evoke Chengdu’s rhythm of life. The result is an architectural narrative where nature, art, and daily activity coexist to define a new model of contemporary luxury.

ZEST ART’s Chengdu Art Mansion Club represents a conceptual bridge between the aesthetics of high-end hospitality and the evolving demands of urban living. Rather than replicating the grandeur of luxury hotels, the design abstracts their spatial order to serve a more nuanced purpose—cultivating connection, art appreciation, and sensory immersion within a residential community.

Situated at a key urban artery in Chengdu, the project acts as both a private retreat and a public interface for cultural interaction. Its six-meter-high panoramic clubhouse anchors the base of three northern towers, forming the social heart of the complex. This height and openness allow the architecture to breathe, establishing spatial continuity between the interior and the courtyard beyond. A glass corridor bridge links the main clubhouse to adjoining spaces, guiding visitors through a curated sequence of art installations and landscaped views that heighten the experience of movement and reflection.

The architectural language draws upon the vitality of Ba-Shu craftsmanship while adopting contemporary materiality. Finishes such as marble, metal, and natural crystal articulate texture and luminosity, while textiles in velvet, leather, and linen soften the atmosphere. These elements create a dialogue between the tactile and the visual, balancing indulgence with restraint.

Beyond aesthetics, the program fosters inclusivity across generations. The elevated floor expands the club’s function to accommodate diverse scenes—from art exhibitions and receptions to tea ceremonies and social gatherings. A marine-inspired play area invites children into imaginative worlds, while a tranquil tea house provides space for elders to reconnect with ritual and calm. Panoramic lounges positioned at the skyline’s edge reflect Chengdu’s spirit of leisure and sophistication, offering residents an elevated sense of belonging.

By integrating courtyards, layered circulation, and natural light, ZEST ART dissolves the boundary between outdoor and indoor experience. The result is a cultural landscape that redefines the meaning of luxury, not as excess but as harmony—between art and life, community and individuality, stillness and vitality. Chengdu Art Mansion Club thus stands as a refined architectural expression of modern Chengdu itself: vibrant, cultured, and elegantly attuned to the art of living.
