Single Family House, a residential project designed by YY87 Architektura in a rural area of Warmia, has improved the spatial relationship between interior and landscape by dividing the structure into two distinct sections. The two-story volume facing the street maintains scale with neighboring buildings. The living area was rotated off-axis to better utilize the site and open diagonal views toward the lake, enhancing the visual connection with the surroundings. Finishing materials reference local building traditions, while monolithic forms emphasize the regional architectural identity.

The house is organized into two distinctly articulated volumes. The two-story segment positioned along the street facade is proportioned to align with adjacent buildings, ensuring integration within the rural context of the area.

The building’s configuration, defined by a ridge running parallel to the road, restricted the optimal use of the site; to address this, the section housing the living area was rotated. This oblique orientation frames diagonal views toward the lake, drawing the surrounding landscape into the interior spaces.

Finishing materials were carefully selected to reference local building traditions. Monolithic forms highlight the architectural character specific to the Warmian region.
