Toque Toque Grande II House residential building designed by VD Arquitetura in Toque Toque Grande reconfigures the site into two distinct blocks connected by a ramped circulation volume, using the 40% lot occupation permitted by local Land Use Law. The first block, positioned at street level, contains a kitchen integrated with the dining space, which also acts as a balcony between the pool and the garden. The rear block takes advantage of the sloping terrain to distribute bedrooms on the lower, more secluded level, while the upper level houses a living room and games area with terrace access. From the street, only the ground floor facade is visible, concealing the interior spatial variety and multi-level layout. A central wooden deck and swimming pool were created between the blocks as a leisure and gathering area, integrating large natural stones already present on the site into the overall landscape.

The house occupies 40% of the lot, the maximum allowed by the Land Use Law, which led to its division into two distinct blocks connected by a ramped circulation volume.

The facade-facing block is situated on the ground floor and contains a kitchen integrated with the dining room, which also functions as a balcony connecting the pool and the garden. The sloped terrain allowed the rear block to be organized across two levels, with bedrooms positioned on the lower, more private floor, and the living and games room placed on the upper floor, which provides access to a terrace. A second terrace was constructed on the roof to serve as a space for contemplation, a clothesline, and planters.

Only the ground floor facade is visible from the street, making it unexpected that, upon entering the house, the interior reveals a sequence of spacious rooms distributed across multiple levels.

The stone gables were constructed using stones sourced directly from the site during the clearing and leveling process.

The circulation block is permanently ventilated through open architectural elements. A deck with a swimming pool was installed between the two buildings, forming a central area for leisure and gatherings. The deck connects to large stones originally found on the site, which were integrated into the building’s landscape design.
