The refurbishment of Wyborowa Pernod Ricard’s office in Warsaw’s Lumen building, designed by mode:lina™ in collaboration with JLL and Muniak, reinvents the workspace as a reflection of the company’s values. Completed in March 2025, the 2,400-square-meter interior balances elegance with functionality, offering a hybrid-ready environment that fosters collaboration and creativity. Natural materials, refined finishes, and recycled elements define the aesthetic, while spatial organization supports both teamwork and focus. The centerpiece—a circular copper-toned bar—embodies hospitality and conviviality, linking the design to the brand’s distilling heritage. Across meeting rooms, workspaces, and relaxation zones, the design emphasizes sustainability, inclusivity, and human comfort. The project captures Wyborowa Pernod Ricard’s identity through architecture that feels authentic, open, and timeless.

In redesigning the Wyborowa Pernod Ricard office, mode:lina™ translated corporate values into a spatial experience that prioritizes community and sophistication. The new interior not only aligns with the company’s evolving hybrid work model but also reaffirms its long-term commitment to the Lumen building as a central location within Warsaw’s business district.

The renovation unfolded in parallel with the modernization of the entire building, presenting both opportunity and challenge. The architects, supported by JLL’s project management expertise, coordinated the process through two phases that allowed continuous business operations. This strategic phasing ensured minimal disruption while introducing a wholly new energy to the workplace.

At the heart of the concept lies a vision of conviviality—an architectural expression of the brand’s spirit of togetherness. The reception area introduces this narrative with a restrained yet welcoming palette: crystal-clear glass bricks, brushed steel, and natural oak. These elements combine modern precision with handcrafted tactility, reflecting the company’s dual identity as both global and local.

The central bar stands as the office’s social nucleus. Suspended beneath a decorative copper-toned ceiling inspired by traditional distillation vats, the circular form evokes craftsmanship and ritual. A four-meter black marble counter anchors the space, framed by wooden accents and illuminated displays showcasing the group’s brands. The combination of terrazzo flooring and lush greenery transforms this area into a sophisticated yet approachable setting.

Beyond its visual centerpiece, the office embraces the building’s distinctive curved architecture. Rounded corners, glazed partitions with gradient frosting, and softened edges create a sense of continuity throughout. The architects used these elements to echo the Lumen’s original geometry, aligning the interior’s flow with the building’s structural rhythm.

The boardroom and meeting areas reflect a balance of formality and comfort. Acoustic wood ceilings, gradient carpets, and ergonomic furnishings establish refined yet practical environments suited to extended discussions. Each room is designed to convey professionalism while remaining aligned with the tactile warmth of the overall concept.

Sustainability guided every design and construction decision. The use of recycled and low-carbon materials, alongside the repurposing of existing furnishings, minimized waste and embodied the brand’s environmental commitments. Even the sale of surplus equipment formed part of a conscious effort to reduce environmental impact.

The employee kitchen, conceived as the heart of the office, extends the atmosphere of connection and creativity. A long communal table in light wood anchors the space beneath a suspended steel framework of greenery and flexible red lighting. The combination of dark green ceilings and panoramic views reinforces the kitchen’s role as a place for both relaxation and informal collaboration.

Themed meeting rooms reinterpret the company’s diverse portfolio, translating references from urban London to Mediterranean coasts into distinctive color and texture palettes. These details lend the workplace a cosmopolitan yet cohesive identity. Complementing these dynamic areas are the library and chill-out room, which provide calm retreats for focus and restoration.

Inclusivity remains central to the project’s ethos. The layout and sensory design address neurodiversity, ensuring accessibility and comfort for a wide range of users. This emphasis on well-being complements the brand’s values of authenticity and respect, allowing every employee to find their own rhythm within the space.

Through this meticulous modernization, mode:lina™ has produced an office that unites aesthetics and purpose. The new Wyborowa Pernod Ricard headquarters exemplifies how thoughtful design can embody corporate culture—merging sustainability, craftsmanship, and hospitality into an environment that inspires both collaboration and belonging.
